Conveyor chain sprockets and idlers
Our sprockets are engineered to continuously improved productivity for customers in every application.
Our conveyor chain sprockets and idlers are made of polyamide PA6, reinforced PA6 or fibre-reinforced PA for plastic tabletop chains. Each sprocket is named after its chain series, so an 880 sprocket runs an 880TAB chain. Machined sprockets suit heavy loads; moulded split sprockets fit fixed shafts and are easy to install.

Sprockets & idlers FAQs
- What material are your sprockets made of?
- Polyamide PA6 for most series, reinforced PA6 for heavier duty (for example 900 and T-200 sprockets) and fibre-reinforced PA for the A, T-500/T-600, T-1200 and T-2000 sprockets.
- What types of conveyor chain sprockets do you make?
- Machined drive and idler sprockets, moulded split sprockets, thermoplastic split drive sprockets (for example for the 820 chain) and idler wheels.
- How do I read a sprocket code such as 1-880-10-25?
- The code reads type, chain series, number of teeth and bore: 1-880-10-25 is a machined sprocket for the 880 series with 10 teeth and a 25 mm bore. Codes starting with 3 are moulded split sprockets.
- Machined or moulded split sprocket: which should I choose?
- Machined sprockets are precise and strong, for heavy load transport. Moulded split sprockets are made for fixed shafts and are easy to install.
- Which sizes are available for 880 sprockets?
- 10, 11 and 12 teeth, with bores from 20 to 40 mm; the full table is on the 880 sprockets page.
